This song took almost forever, the arrangement was the easiest part. Making absolutely every synth from scratch was definitely the hardest part, i spent a couple hours on each synth including the wind/wave synth. Each synth orriginated from a single sine wave, I had a lot of fun making this and it is the longest song i've made so far. If you can listen to the whole thing please review. Just imagine flying over a city or small town near an ocean or body of water. Enjoy

Beautiful...simply beautiful

I was listening to this on my headphones and i felt the song take me over waves like i was at the beach! i love this song because i love the beach and you captured that ambience and mood of early morning on the east coast when no one is out and teh waves are big but calm and rolling. i love to go out and jsut float on top of them letting them carry me and this song trully brings that feeling back which is amazing! very wonderful piece ^~^

wow, epic chillout

This is one of my favorite types of song and you did it well. I love what you did with the drums.

Good song

I like the slow build up of this song. It helps to put the listener in the right mood for this piece.

Water can be either calming or be destructive and dangerous. You chose to go for the calming part of the water, which I quite like.

The synths sound pretty good. Maybe they are a tad bit too high pitched, but maybe that's just because I'm listening to this on my netbook, which has shitty speakers.

I also like the length of this piece. I always hate it when a song puts me in a calming mood and then it's over after only 3 minutes or so. This piece is over 8 minutes long, so enough time for me to dive into this nice atmosphere the song creates and to relax for a while.

thanks, before i updated the song the high notes sounded even higher pitch because the EQ on the synth was off. Thanks for the review i appreciate the listen.

Calming

I can see where at the start it feels a lot like a beach and winds blowing heavily, almost as if it were the start to a 70s music video as well which is just hat the intro made me think of. Then the slow phaser effect bass line comes in and starts up the beat. Soon the synth joins in with a different phaser effect applied to it.

The tune kind of seems to relax you and make you feel calm. The drums were the last step here as they provide the final piece of the tune and offer to make it complete as a whole. The way it flows for the rest of the song slightly repeats itself as it gets louder and adds in a bit more complex drum line to it.

Overall, calming and very nicely worked out ambient piece. Very relaxing indeed.

Very nice!

Sounds very celestial like! I liked it!
loved the ocean sound at 02:22, it added alot of atmosphere to your song :)

Only thing I would do is:
- lower the synth that makes the wind sound, kinda high volume on that.
- change the clap and maybe the kick to get a more realistic sounding beat.

but other then that this was a really great song! Keep up the good work and good luck! :D
