Southern Flavor - Blues

Author Comments

Born in the midwest, raised in the desert. Western patriot and New Yorker at heart. He desperately searched for a place of solitude. A nowhere boy. In his odyssey, he realized the only consistence, the only true "home" was within the music he simply could not help but create. An artist in every sense of the word. Able to conjure a psychedelic magic through anything that makes sound. Hill is someone who writes because it's the only way to sift through the thoughts in his roaring head.

Morgan found his way to San Francisco when he was 18. He left his former band, seeking something new, something unknown. During his year in San Francisco, Morgan attended art school. Before his second semester was through, he got an acceptance letter to California Institute of the Arts. This, for him, was the next big step. He readily packed his things and moved south.

After two years study at CalArts, Morgan had gotten exactly what he needed. It was the perfect dose of the dark side. Morgan left CalArts ready to give up everything to keep on his odyssey, to get his art to the eyes of the people.

Morgan is currently finishing production on his debut, self titled album. He has had the great fortune of recording with Grammy Winning Producer, John Chelew, who has been instrumental in the creation of a wild, timeless, soulful record.

A story currently being written in the shadows of a Hollywood apartment, Morgan is by all means, a renaissance man, an artist.
