That wind-like sound at around 0:20 was hard on the ears.

I can get an idea of what this could be used for, though this sounds like an actual piece of VGM more than a simple ambient song. Ever heard Palisade Melody from Suikoden IV? This piece actually reminds me of that for the most part: ominous final level music. It would be much better without that jarring noise at the end, but you've successfully reminded me of a Suikoden IV episode with this song.
