I couldn't find any decent versions of this song online, so I made one myself (minus lyrics, since I don't have a microphone >.> ).
In the beginning, the celesta repeats the first two measures of the song over and over. The viola plays the melody, minus the first measure.
Then, the violin plays the melody, accompanied by a drone played by the contrabass, and harmonizations by the viola.
Then, the violin keeps playing the melody, but this time with reharmonizations by the collective string section and contrabass.
Then, a variation of the round is played, with the cello leading the melody, the viola starting at the second measure, the celesta starting the melody at the third measure, and the harp starting it at the fourth.
Finally, a proper playing of the round finishes the piece, with the violin starting the melody, the viola starting on the third measure, the celesta on the fifth, the cello on the seventh, accompanied by the collective string section and contrabass.

Certainly not bad. I would've liked to see a bit more "improv" or additions to the basic melody maybe, but that's just personal preference. Maybe a better sound sample is needed for the instruments, as well, but I understand more than anybody how hard it is to come by a good sound sample. I will compliment your choice of instruments, well decided.

I wanted to work solely with the existing melody as opposed to extending it or changing it; only the harmonies etc. were changed. I know where you're coming from, though.
