Within the highest tower of sorrow. We throw each other to the world.
When I played EVE Online I needed custom soundtracks, so I turned to Newgrounds. I put together a playlist of quiet, almost serene songs that I thought would fit well with the atmosphere of solo mining in EVE. It turned out almost too good, really.
Among the songs on the playlist, was this piece as well as The Terminal. It captured the quiet, lonely experience so well that I couldn't help but see a real pilot sitting as his controls, gently tapping his fingers along to the piano...
Needless to say, I really enjoyed this song and the others. I would love to hear more like this and The Terminal, as they as exceptional.
