A WIP remix of the classic Hill Top Zone theme from Sonic 2. Tell me what you think of this direction :)

Lots of promise

The trumpet synth itself doesn't fit with the tones of the other synths. I agree with the instrument choice but the synth just cuts. It's a bit too bright. Otherwise I love the consistent flavor of this track. The up beat direction. The clever use of the chorus to simulate the train whistle. This is what a true remix should be. Source material recognizable but a new song in its own right. Sonic is a city slicker in the old west and egg man just hijacked the Hill Top Express. Yehaw!

You absolutely have to finish this NAO! I give you an 8 because it is unfinished but it is so amazing! Such a different take on the original, these are the types of remixes I love. Keep it up and yea.. FINISH IT!

You HAVE to finish this

Dude, it cut out RIGHT before my favourite part! This is totally energized and wholly unique take on the tune, definitely looking forward to the end result.

Thank you! I'm SOOOO sorry...I have a bad habit of doing that lol. But I'm in the process of finishing it now. I'm just very picky on where I wanna take it next. But I appreciate it, I wanted to do something faithful yet different with this piece :)

Definitely good

And I didn't even like the original hill top zone. This version might make me appreciate it more

The music was always one of my favorite parts (even if the level kicked my @$$ on multiple occasions). Maybe we might see a train ride version like this on Sonic Generations :)
