I like the sound of this, and for some reason, I can imagine my OC Pokemon character (a ghost trainer) using this as his theme.

My son keeps telling me this should be a final boss fight theme but i don't feel it's quite that epic... Definitely a boss fight though... i wrote this after dreaming my friends and i had to build a 6 man chariot for an arena battle...
Not quite final boss status, but still really good
I don't know why, but when listening to it Geryon (or however you spell it's name) from DMC3 comes to mind.
I can see the fight in either a cavern or underground ruins, and time would definitely be a factor in one way or another. Be it a doom effect or a haste/slow type deal. I'd say very well done, but if you want it to go into a final boss form I would suggest trying to add another layer of music with something low pitch, or pick up the tempo to symbolize a "fight for your life" scenario.

boss music would def. need more dynamics and eventually some hope shining through imo.
this is definitely 'fight or flight' tune.. maybe a fight/flight through collapsing underground ruins?
