Nicely done!

I really like what you've done here, it really changes my mood. The Pedal point really fills it up. The trouble with using pedal point tones though is that it restricts you from using certain chords effectively. Think of that pitch as the root of your chord, a nice number of notes within the given 12 will go with it. However it also leaves a great deal of pitches that will cause dissonance making it sound unclear.

I think that if you keep the pedal point then you should try moving other lower string instruments up in their range or omit them. some intervals may sound bad in a certain configuration. Simply moving dissonant pitchs(grating notes) up an octave will clear it up.

You have quite excellent material here. Really all I think it would take is letting that Drone pitch handle the bass and the perc keep the motor going so that the listener can keep with the piece. The higher ranged string parts are doing well as they are.

This is a good song.

This is a very deep and serious song. Unlike your other songs I feel emotion listening to it. Sadly i must agree with DjClyme because the note being played through out this song makes it sound weird at times.

I can picture this song at a very suspenseful moment in a game. it would fit in many situation of that type. I can imagine a long loved team mate getting shot or something like the sort.

My ratings:
Stings - 9/10
Bass - 10/10
Note playing the whole song - 0/10
Over all - 8/10

Cynus responds:

Yes, but like I i said, I was to lazy to change it up(although it would have taken only a few minutes...)

not bad

the thing that i think could be changed, is that underlying note that's being played through the whole song. it makes the song sound sorta off key. other than that its pretty cool :)

5|5 10|10 great work!

Cynus responds:

Yeah, I was gonna change it up a little, but I had worked on it for n hour and I turned lazy xD
