Sonic- Green Grove Act 1 Piano

This one was requested by fellow Newgrounder, pro1137. I don't normally do requests, but this tune seemed to work very well with my typical arrangement scheme. So, here is a piano/electronic arrangement of the stage BGM Green Grove Zone Act 1 from the Sega Genesis version of the video game Sonic 3D Blast, which was released in 1996.

This could also be considered a rearrangement of "The Air" for Windy Valley from Sonic Adventure.

This is a collaboration between me and John Weeks.

MIDI Sequenced by John Weeks. Piano arrangement by Dr. Mack Foxx.

MIDI modified and used with permission. Please note: I do have written permission to post this from John Weeks.

I reply to all reviews so feel free to leave one. :)

The music for 3D blast was always good, But Am I the only person here who thinks this a great game?
So its hard, Big whoop, Thats what makes a good game and not a boring one. Anyway good music, make more from 3D blast (Mabye Panic puppet act 1)

Funny you should mention Puppet Panic Zone Act 1. Just look for "Sonic- Twinkle Cart Piano" here on Newgrounds: it's EspioKaos' and my first submission to the Audio Portal. :)

At any rate, thank you so much for taking the time to leave yet another great review! Glad you really enjoyed this song. :) More from the Sega Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast is indeed on my to-do list.

Nice, calm, relaxing, yet it still tells you to run like the wind. Nice song overall. Great Job. :D

Yeah, the original track this cover is based on is from a Sonic game that was not so well received by critics and fans alike: Sonic 3D Blast (Released in 1996 on the Sega Genesis).

Glad to see you still liked this song quite a bit, though. :) Thank you for the good review!

For me, Sonic 3D Blast, especially the Sega Saturn version, had great music, but often a rather frustrating style of game play. ^_^;

Nonetheless, I'm very happy that you enjoyed this track so much and thank you for the great review! I really appreciate it. :)
