Third attempt... It's a ballad. It gets better the more you listen. I'd love a review.

Well composed

First of all, I realize everyone knows this, but Pachelbel's Canon in D is not the only Canon there is. Canon refers to a certain structure of contrapuntal themes. That being said; very well done. As an earlier reviewer said, it is missing a little bit in the midrange, but it is quite pleasant, actually the best techno mix of Canon in D I have ever heard. I look forward to hearing more music from you.

Oh, and a ballad is a narrative song or poem, technically.

ha

This made me laugh because I just played this in orchestra practice today =P I think this is a great adaptation-you kept the nice easy tempo in it.

This is not a ballad.

This is just a modified piece of classical music.
Could you do the flight of the bumble bee? thnx (original piano if you CAN)

Darn, you caught me. I really have just a vague idea what a ballad is and I thought it would make the title sound better, hehe. Bumble bee music eh? Maybe eventually.

Nice work dude.

Hopefully this will help a little. Overall I thought it was great. The tempo/speed is exactly where it should be. I'm not one for 1 solitary beat on occasion but that's minor. I liked it when there were many tracks on at the same time made the song complete. Personally when the beat gets going it's great. It needs to have more mid-range (not BASE...Mid-range has a more "full" feeling to a song) adding base would ruin it. I can't personally make out how many "tracks or beats" you have going at the same time, I would have more of the same amount. Anyways there's my 2 cents so hope it'll help. Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged by us lazy bastard who just listen

:)

xbot3001 responds:

Thanks, really. A lot of canon pieces have their beauty in their repetitiveness, which (for me) justified my own, hehe. I'll keep trying to tweak the song, thanks again.
