This is really relaxing.
I like it! The simple beat is really nice ass well. I'd like to see you lengthen this to a full length song. Maybe add some more sounds to it.
One Friday morning (this year in 2011), I woke up with this theme in my head, and wasn't all that sure of where to go with it. I started playing it on the piano first, liking it, and then transferring the idea into GarageBand. I tried adding an intro, but the voicings and whatnot aren't all that good right now, so I'm just sharing the best part, which is essentially the only part I really did.
This would be among the first times IIRC that I actually recorded in GB using my laptop's keyboard as the sole input (just too busy to keep it attached to my M-Audio 61es).
I took what felt like all of an hour and a half to "pre-master" (I would say master, but the app suddenly gave out, perhaps because God thought I should start the process over, before I burnt out the computer as I had it on a continuous loop while doing the mastering) what I have.
It's my first time ever using the quasi-oriental instrument "Spacious", which is essentially the only oriental-like musical instrument one can find in GB without looking to download/buy outside what's already built-into the DAW. I really always wanted to write something that reflects the Far East in a way, and it felt good to finally do that with this. Considering Spacious is really the main instrument, I decided to make the theme, well, "spacious"!
It's also the first time I've started to make use of GBs "arrange track" feature, so I can keep track of certain sections of my music at any time, better.
Yeah it's short, but it's all I got....for now.

Thank you very much for your review! There is a slightly more extended version on my SoundCloud (http://soundcloud.com/faerytaleadven turer/space-station-sakura-beta), I'll definitely let you know when a full version is available.
