i decided to make a jazzy song cuz i was bored and just felt in a smooth mood. i got inspired by a song i was listenin to called Chillax, don't do it. i didnt take any samples from that song though, just an inspiration from it. i hope you like my attempt at cool jazz with no techno. pleez comment, rate, and download.
I just want to be sure....
When the saxes come in, are there 3 of them or 2? They all blend in so smoothly! Like everyone said though, that drumming sound in the beginning annoys much, but eh. What can you do right?

Yeah, with the old program I use to use when I made this, the compressing & equalizing was kinda hard so whenever I add bass to a song, sometimes it makes it kinda not compressed. At 2:51, that's when all 3 saxophones come in. Thanx for the review!!!

You said this wasn't good... I love how the xylaphobe came in around 0:25... Just one problem... The little pffftttchhh sounds sounded a little off the beat... Do you think you could change a little for me and make that sound more on beat and give me the link to that?

Well technically I said it's one of my older, less good ones, but I thought it was ok. It's just that this was made with Mixcraft so that's why I laugh at some of my older songs. Glad you liked that xylophone, I love adding that in my more smooth jazz songs. Yeah, you see, Mixcraft doesn't have very good compression so that pffftch sound would be kinda hard to get rid of :( but if I ever do try to make it sound better, I'll defintely let you know!!!

Hah, wow thanx. I'm really glad you liked this song. Jazz is one of those genres you can just really get into at certain times that you feel like tappin' your feet to a little rhythm. One day I'll make another jazz song, just hope I can make another good one like this. Thanx for the review!

Get a better snare noise for 00:38. That aside, this is what you should do. Your very good with mood and groove. The song has personality which I kinda feeling a lot of your techno is lacking just because I don't think your really putting yourself into em.

Yeah, some of my techno songs are really old songs, but I'm workin' harder on my techno ones. This one was just mellow & I wanna make a combination of mellow & techno, you know, e. piano etc. The ones that i think i have more feelin' for are my upbeat techno songs like Perpetual Island. I put feelin' in my songs of course, it just I'm more of an upbeat techno guy then downbeat or anythin' like that.
