Could do with a little bass in the kick
just a little because it has so much club vibe that it needs to be felt in the stomach when i qm on the dancefloor!
Howdy folks!
Here's another fresh beat from me today, was working on two in tandem, I've never been so creative! lol, anyways, this tune's a kinda latin-inspired House tune with an electro breakdown. The other (Carried Away, go check it out too! :D) is an oldskool Trance dealy.
Had a lotta fun working on this one as I wanted to try and blend two different styles through transitions, I think it turned out alright but it's up to y'all to let me know for sure! :D
As usual, please rate / review / enjoy!

Agreed, I hadn't started gating a sub to my kick yet at this point, it's beefier in my more recent tracks. :D Thanks for the review, IIPhase.
A good song
is when it loops so perfectly, you jam to it for three hours without realizing it. Seriously, love it. Good job.
haha, sickness, that is definitely my intent with the loop'd tunes. ;) Glad to see it worked again! :D
Thanks for the review, McHeath. :)
I had the strangest dream...
I was Dance-a-tron 17K. To dance was to live, to boogy was to speak, to get down was to, well, get down. As I Robot'd my way into town, everyone gahered to my position, beholding the spectacle that was my dancing. I stopped midway, the people shocked. I pushed a button in my chest boombox, and Durn's "One Step, Two Step" began to play. I was transformed into Dance-a-tron 2000K, and everyone danced on down with me to the nearest Dance Club, and we dance for days on end, the epic melody of Durn's songs fueled out hearts and minds with all the energy we needed, and so the End Rave began... Durn, thank you.
Duuuuuude, I want a boombox implanted in my chest. I'd be like Iron Man, only instead of having something in my chest that gives power to me, this one gives power to the people! ;) lol.
Thanks for the weird and imaginative review, Autoslayer, you are nuts! :D
Cool
Yes... I've been lurking <.< >.> only 10 days late on this one maybe no one will notice <.< >.>
lol
Anyway, This one was great, has a really trancey sound to it, and its very catchy, reminds me of megaman sewer/underground stages, also oddly reminds me of another old N64 or NES game that I can't remember the name of.
Keep it up durn (btw are you doing this for fun or have you gotten into selling your music yet?)
haha, lurker! :D yeah, a lot of people told me it reminded them of video game background music during the beginning and repeated parts of that.
I do it both for fun and for money. :D All the stuff I release here on newgrounds and other online places are just songs I make to keep myself happy. I get paid to make short background loops for online promotional games. Hence why a lot of my tunes have VG elements to em, it's part of my daily life. :)
...
The epicness....
Anyway I LOVED this song. The only thing that got me was the repeating background, but it emphasized on the song so I cant decide if it was negative or positive. The breakdown.......that breakdown.........was fucking awesome. Sorry, but thats coming from the heart, so it slipped. The instruments blended into that type of bittersweet coffee that tastes just right. The kick was that extra umph in that coffee. The breakdown was the sexy waitress that served you the coffee. It was just awesome. I know I should review this professionally so scorechart.
Melody-8/10

Again Im sorry for the non-professionalism, but I just.......never have gotten into a song like I have with this one. I just....yeah.

:D w00t, screw professionalism! :D Makes me happy to see how much you digged the tune, dude. :) Took me a while to transition between the two parts as the breakdown is kinda off-key but a simple little pitch-bend on the last chord is what did the trick. :d Thanks for the love, Darkfire! :D
