To be honest, it was your post on the audio forums that brought me to this song, but I have to say, it's pretty awesome. Really awesome retro feel. If someone just showed me this song out of the blue and I didn't know it was from here, I would have just assumed it was a song in an old NES game! Very well done!

Already reviewed the original, so an actual review here isn't really necessary. I think you leveled out the volumes nicely here. As the NAC Judge stated in his review of the original, the bass could be overpowering at times. That was fixed nicely in this track. I wouldn't necessarily say it's BETTER, just different. I could listen to both versions for different reasons. The original had(in my opinion) a slightly grittier sound, making it seem a little more old-school, which is great. I think you did an awesome job on both tracks.
