update 12.28.18- this song HEAVILY reminds me of She's Gone by Black Sabbath, my fave band, musically...you should give it a listen and hear it, sounds eerily similar to the beginning of this song :P

The time when I recorded this was much like that. Caring about one thing, not giving a fuck about anything else, my own health included. I caught that melancholy pretty well and am proud of this song and sometimes I listen to this myself just to remember how bad it was once... One of my friends said this song has a "healing effect" which I find a very awesome thing to say :D

Thank you! I like your music, you totally should upload more. Mike Patton is also one of my biggest idols so that comparison really gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I've been thinking I should reduce my smoking but I just love those cigarettes :D Well it might make my voice deeper but higher vocals are getting harder to nail by the day!

Yeah somebody said the same thing, I think it's pretty cool actually :D I didn't do that intentionally, if I remember right I composed the music before writing the lyrics but given my state at the time I wrote this one, the darkness of it is not a big surprise :D
