Basically I'm taking a Midi class in college and it's boring, I already know what he is teaching so I am spending my time abusing the free access in class to all the programs. I decided to make a song from each program to see witch fits me the best. This is the first test from Garage Band. Personally I found Garage band to have great sounds and was very easy to use, however very limiting, but this is what I was able to come up with. WARNING! IT is not perfected, I didn't do any cleaning up of my playing, I made a few mistakes, there are some timing issues, but the point of this isn't to make a masterpiece, I made a cover of a few songs I liked, tested some loops changed them, tested making your own loops and threw them together in this conglomeration of sound. You don't need to point to the mistakes because there are probably more there than you notice, what I would like to hear is how the overall idea of it went and if you have any say in your favorite music writing program, here is your chance also to boast about what I should write my next piece of music on, Garageband and Reason are out, since I have already used pieces for them. Yes I have used Finale and Sibelius but I can't post the midi of them on here. So those 4 are out, all others are fair game. Hope you enjoy my test, and if your interested in using it for something, if I have time i can spend it to clean it up for you, if need be.
This is mainly a cover of Just the way you are (Bruno Mars) but I couldn't help throwing a tiny bit of Baba O'riley (The Who), With Or Without You (U2), And I got a rather large section for Chaoz Fantasy (ParagonX9) a fellow Newgrounds artist because the song is simply the shit, and I had a blast abusing it's awesomeness in an attempt to make it more awesome. Enjoy.
