Underneath the gray and cloudy sky...

A humble peddler walks down the cobblestone street with his wares. The poor guy is down on his luck and feeling a bit down. His cart, once a magnificent piece of machinery, designed by him to better showcase his wares, is now falling apart, piece by piece, a victim of time's cruel erosion. The peddler himself has seen better years too, with a slight hunch in his back and arthritis forcing him to stop every few blocks. At the top of a hill, he sees a few kids playing with their toys and remembers his days as a toymaker, bringing joy to children's faces even when they were otherwise inconsolable. As he loses himself in nostalgia, however, his cart begins to roll down the hill. Alerted by the sudden loss of something to lean on, the peddler screams in alarm and chases his runaway cart down the hill. Faster and faster he runs, but he cannot catch up with his cart before... CRASH!!! The peddler looks down at his oldest companion, now ripped to pieces by a single moment's distraction. He sighs and looks around to make sure no one was hurt. His eyes fall upon a nearby toy store. There is a sign in the window: "NOW HIRING CRAFTSMEN". The old man takes one last look at his cart, the only life he has known for thirty years, and slowly walks to the toy store, hope finally in his eyes once again...

Quite vivid and fitting to the song. I love it!

It makes me think of how some people will stick with the same old in life for years merely because they don't want to move out of their comfort zone. They get to the point in which years have passed and they feel hopelessly burnt out, but although they are aware of being discontent, they fence-sit. Sometimes, you just have to take a risky step forward and get out of the rut you are in. Although it was caused by an incident, perhaps a change of pace will bring this peddler joy?

Well, there is my sermon. Thanks for the awesome review!

Hmm..

The peddler wanders the street with slight despair in his heart. He walks into a bar, where silence lurks around as all of the customers look toward the door. With no word, he continues inward toward the counter. The bartender looks somewhat frightened not knowing his name. He sits down at the booth, and one of the bigger men approach him, intimidated by his appearance. The man asks for the peddlers name, but no answer. He asks again. No reply. Now the buff man is getting angry and tries to punch the peddler. However, the strike looked like as if it past right by the peddler. The peddler had dodge the attack!

This was no ordinary peddler, the man thought. Suddenly, he lunged at the peddler. The humble man notices this, and lashes out with a full force kick to the groin. The man didnt stand a chance. Promptly, the peddler leaves the bar, and into the shadows of the streets, without a trace......

Sounds good, eh? Great piece by the way.

It's creative and completely unexpected! That's just how I tried to compose the song, so it fits very nicely. :D Thanks for the image, sir!
