Impending Combat

> Jonah: Elucidate.

Our first time working on someone else's music! Raiser's a fan of the webcomic MS Paint Adventures, and on a lark decided he wanted to try his hand at one of the characters' battle themes. When the community responded with suggestions, he decided to kick it up a notch and blend the four kids' themes together.

The song opens with 'Aggrieve', the battle theme for Rose Lalonde, then transitions into John Egbert's combative 'Showtime'. Some overenthusiastic violin and piano later, Dave Strider scratches in with 'Atomyk Ebonpire' from the '> [S] Dave: Accelerate' video, and 'Sunslammer' (in itself a remix of 'Sunsetter') from Jade Harley's first SBURB-bound battle rounds things out.

I personally can't vouch for the storytelling. Had a hard enough time following Raiser when he went off on his tirade about romance fanfiction and authorative timing, much less the plot. That said, the fan-base is pretty big and the current story's been going for over a year, so they must be doing something right. Give it a read if you have an hour or three to kill.
