Dedicated to the people who think their lives are so tough when it's not. Including myself.

Bahaha, lo-fi as always, the next original song I did all by myself (starting with POM2) is and always entitled "My World." Yes, after the 2 Justin Bieber albums. It rung with me, and the faux-meaningfull lyrics came easily after I read the first line somewhere.

As the song draws to an end... that was hard to time everything up. 3 guitars ringing out as once. My uh.... lack of a metronome made it harder. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy it!
Knowing you don't know is the first step of knowing, you know?
Knowing you got blow is the worst thing about saying "no."
Hold on to the past, because the future's since let you go.

The people who once loved you so
Are struggling to let you know

Even though you think life's just a given
They're still ready for you, all could be forgiven
But you don't care, when they fall to the floor
You say "this is my world."

"Change" is useless when all you do is stay the same
And hoping is fruitless when people see what you became
Where are your friends now, the ones whom you once staked a claim?

Do you even want to be tamed,
Or is life just all one big game?

Even though you think life's just a given
They're still ready for you, all could be forgiven
But you don't care when they fall to the floor
All you want is more, more, more
They've given up and broken down
They hide their pain, no smile or frown
But you don't care, walk out the door
And you say "this is my world."

"My world..."

This actually kind of makes you feel a bit happier on the inside. The guitar playing here is very beautiful as well. Kind of makes me think of those indie movies where the main character is at their lowest and a song is played to make them realize that it could always be much much worse than it currently is.

The guitar riff is very wonderful here and literally almost brought a tear to my eye as well. The lyrics are wonderful here and kind of make you wish to examine yourself again to find out where you went wrong in life. The vocals are terrific and I really enjoy how you are singing the song.

Overall, this is a beautiful piece.

Pretty good song

This song was pretty good, there was not only good lyrics to it but also a hidden moral to the song. The only thing that I suggest though is that you use a different mic to reduce the static but other than that, it as great.

the guitar was good. but sometimes the syncing was off. and i think you need to improve on your singing. perhaps sing louder, and with more enthusiasm. the lyrics were good. i kind know what youre getting at. but its pretty okay.
