This is just a theme I'm working on. I am just looking for some more feedback on what I have so far before I go on. Because at this point, it is getting so difficult to come up with more ideas. I tried to add a harmonica part at the beginning, but that's when I realized that I'm a horrible harmonica player, lol. If anyone else would like to collaborate on this with me, that would be really neat. I had already originally planned on this being a collaboration, but I know that most folks have stuff going on now, and I'm just itching to finish this! :D
Anyway, enjoy. Sorry for the bad mixing. I'll fix it when I'm finally finished with the song, hehe.
So for now, enjoy my little western piece!!

EDIT: Wow! Thanks for the positive response to this song, guys! To thank you for the 5 ratings, I've made a little story to go along with this ending.

The long lost settlers are traveling alongside their newly found Native American friends to what they hope to be their new home. The hero of the story pauses when he sees the absolutely beautiful landscape. He looks to his love. "Well, this is it." "Yes it is" she replies.
And the scene cuts to four years later and you see a bunch of wild west folk (perhaps the main heroes of this whole story) racing across the desert wilderness on painted horses. They ride through the city, which is still being built, as people cheer for their coming.
Hmm...and the rest, well, that's up to you. :)

I'm loving the feel...

... of this piece! It brings me right to the time and place of a real western era! Great interpretation! Keep up the excellent work!

Lovely song...

Reminds me the older Final Fantasy games and Mario Kart. Nice and warm tempo. Really waiting for the final theme and I hope to steal this song :)

You can certainly use it if you wish. :) I suppose it could sound like some of those old games....maybe western themed ones, hehe.

Thankies buddy. :)

While listening to this,

i remember a series of books i´ve read.
Diana Gabaldon wrote a series of books. The main story was about a woman named claire who travelled thru time, using a Stonehenge sorta thingy ...lol

Anyways, this song reminds me very much of some scenarios in the books.
You have actually managed to compose a western tune.
One can hear this is a western themed song right from the intro.

I don´t know what it was, but i think it could be the rizzel-razzel and the rythms. ROFL) sorry i don´t know the english name for the instruments (the perc)

I have no idea how you managed to create this. Where did you get the inspiration for it?
I just gotta say...Very creative of you.

Ooh? So I brought back memories of an awesome book series eh? Now I really need to go and read those. :)

Thanks HC!
This song might inspire me to write more, lol. Hmm. Lol, rizzel-razzel....I love that! :D I probably don't either. I just used some random misc. percussion. Just some castanets and other neat little clicker-clackers. :)

I was inspired by a western movie I watched, actually. Hadn't seen the old film in forever. Gotta love those old timey western classics, hehe. I'm glad you thought so. Your songs are also very creative.
Thanks again, HC. You rock! :D

This is pretty nice

I really like the feel of the whole thing overall. I'd love to listen to the full version whenever you get it finished.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for it. :]
