This is a song that I made in 2009, but for some reason I submitted it with my alt account instead of this one. So I went and reposted it here! So this is the first of maybe three such songs that I'll resubmit. Once a week probably.
So Nivlheim is in Norse mythology "a place of eternal cold, darkness, and fog, ruled over by Hel: abode of those who die of illness or old age". According to what I learned in primary school, there's like a coastline there filled with the bodies of sick old people. Damn scary stuff.

I just thought i'd point this out though. It's called Niflheim. As far as I remember it is the place you get to before you enter Niflhel, The destionation everyone goes to if you don't die with honor. At least that's what I remember as although it has been a long time since I looked it up. I'm a hundred percent sure it's called Niflheim though.
Kingdom Under Fire?
Cool song but It sounds a whole lot like the game Kingdom under fire to me, a lot... But hey its an awesome game and it has good music so whether or not you based this on it, this still sounds good.

It gives this progressive rock feeling to it. Like Shine On You Crazy Diamond, the way the synths build in the suspense atmosphere before the guitar kicks in the melody is great. The repeating guitar just adds more to the experimental sound to it as well as the ending, plus a solid bassline gives it +s.
You got what you were going for in this.
Lovely lovely use of emotion in this song. I'd say you got what you were going for and then some. Its agreat listen and i'd not be suprised to hear this in any movie or game. I'll keep it at that. Short and sweet. Great work.

i loved those syncopations in the drums. the vibe this track gave off was ethereal. my only problem with this song was how short it was. intro/ outro noises were med sexy.
