I made this song just over a year ago and here I am remixing it. The old version is pretty much absolute shit if I don't say so myself and after listening to it enough I could see soo much room for improvement.
So I did just that.
Both original and remix are made with fruity loops. Every Lead/Bass used is either made using the 3xosc or Sytrus.
All the samples are things around my house(I have a drumkit so that's where the drum samples are coming from).
This is just an intro that I've come up after a few hours and I think it's pretty cool and was hoping for some feedback to either continue it or scrap it.

Thanks for listening.

Good start...

So many artists on NG put little to no effort into mixing and mashing melodies. Like they think 1 melody is enough for an entire song.

Good to hear some effort going on here. Be sure to continue this when finishing off this track!

TreeDonkey responds:

Thank you very much for your review. I agree, alot of people here go with the bare minimum - 1 melody 1 bassline 1 beat. Sometimes this can sound pretty good though but the song lacks so much depth and dynamic.

My original song did the same thing though, it started with 1 melody, bassline and beat and then kept changing the melody every 16 bars or so. In this remix I took all of those melodies and put them together to see which would fit and which melody would compliment another.

I have actually finished the song now and I'd love to hear your opinion on it.

It sounds great so far. The song has a good rytm and bass and I think the rytm and bass fits nicely together. So I donĀ“t see anything to change in this song just continue it, make it longer with a nice mid part and outro :)
