Part 3 - Investigation

[In case you haven't heard the song I allude to in this series, check out RetromanOMG's "Expedition to Mount Revenant!]

Basically, the Traveler guy found Mount Revenant and is checking out the caves. This monster of a mountain harnesses much more than girth, though, as it appears to swallow the Traveler whole.

Yeah it's a weird plot. It gets weirder.

Wow.

Nice plot,the song really tells you the storry of that traveller,you can feel it from hearing the song.Relly interesting,and i can quote PervoBear "SOUNDS ALOT LIKE TRON INTRO".The song gives you a misteryous felling.

What I like to hear

This is what I like to hear in a song like this. Uniqueness. This isn't just a bunch of arpeggios and such. It has a unique sound. I can honeestly say, I would probably be able to recognize one of your songs if it was lined up with other 8-bit songs. I love it when the drums kick in too. It makes it like a techno song. Overall, a good job on the drums, though I think you need to mess around with drum patterns, while bass beats on 1 2 3 4, and snare on 2 4 is cool, it needs to be varied. It seems like that's your fall back drum beat. Though this is coming from a drummer so I guess maybe I care more about it then others would.

Ha no I just decided to make it more of a techno beat than a rock beat, though I love rock beats personally.

Also, this song has one of my favorite solos out of any of my songs ever. Quick Descent 3 has probably my favorite solos.

Good Lord, the mountain is alive...

I like how this song had so much buildup to it. It's funny, you could probably do the song without any percussion and it'd still sound as good.

Either way, this turned out really nicely, especially considering how much time you spent on it. It's definitely my series retold in your style.
