I'm in a bit of a hurry, but I just wanted to tell you that this is incredible.
Great job.
Introducing the Flute-a-min!!!
It plays the lead melody throughout this piece. I made it using Sculpture in logic. As much as I would like to continue my illusions of instrument- making grandeur it sounds like a slightly dirtier/more metalic version of a piccolo. Or indeed a Theramin...
I was inspired by videos of the xbox live game of the same name. It's a dark and atmospheric game if you haven't seen it. Spooky elements within a good puzzle/adventure game but it doesn't have much music! So this is my idea of what should be the theme for "Limbo".

Thank you buddy! Pleased to meet you. I'll check out some of your stuff in a bit...
Hauntingly beautiful.
I really love the melody, and the instrument you created is PERFECT for it. Very expressive "performance" - I almost expected to hear someone taking a breath in certain spots!
There's a sweet depth to the overall sound- the intimacy of the melody, harp and low string voice contrasts nicely with the ambience of the guitar and the cool panning sound that comes in at 1:25ish.
Love the harp at 2:18, the pizz. bass at 2:34, and especially the intensity at 2:51 that gives way to the quiet, "hanging" sensation of the final seconds. Great ending!
By Jove, I think you've created yet another masterpiece!
Color me impressed.
Acmedude! Thanks for the glowing review. I want to turn this into a full on orchestrated mother very soon. Sounds like cubase is treating you well!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
