It kinda reminds me of Zelda OoT When your climbing the stairs in ganons castle
Creepy as hell
I LOVE IT, IT IS CREEPY AS WELL AS BEAUTIFUL!
P.S. this would fit great in a horror game(I know it would keep me looking over my shoulder and probably just plain scare the crap out of me)
xD Oh yeah? I can see it, combined with some cheap pop-out scares. Zombies... dismembered bodies... WORSE!? lol
Thank you for the score and review, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
beautiful gothic piece
That's quite an orchestra you've conjured up here, hard to believe i'm listening to so many strings without it getting melodramatic.
Very appealing to the imagination, you just gave me goosebumps x3
A physical reaction to music? That's a new high for me. xD Awesome. hahaha
Thank you so much for the score and review, I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
Loved the effect
I really like this piece. You took a theme and you layered it with variations from that theme and when they all came together it really built some tension (greatly due to you use of what sounded like tremolo strings).
I really liked at 2:02 where that haunting melody comes in because it prepared the listener for the space that came after which the signaled the start of the B section. The B section then built back up in tension, the same way the A section did, and then ultimatly comes to the resolution of the song.
The resolution is great because while it concludes the song it does not resolve the built up tension of the piece which leaves the listener in the same state a few seconds after hearing the piece as they were a few seconds into the piece, tense and on edge, and since I feel this was the desired effect I say bravo.
"while it concludes the song it does not resolve the built up tension of the piece which leaves the listener in the same state a few seconds after hearing the piece as they were a few seconds into the piece" -- you have no idea how glad I am you felt this way.
Thank you so much for your in-depth review and score, it is so very much appreciated. And yeah, the tremelo strings were the key to the piece.
This is my kind of music dude, I love your all around dark style.
It sounds like a carriage ride through a haunted forest or something :D
I can picture it in a game or movie, it's amazing in my head dude.
I didn't notice your NG username before or I wouldve mentioned how awesome it is. lmfao
Anyways, thank you so much for the score and review. I hope it does get used for something awesome like that :D
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
