Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone :) As my present to you, I give you my very own flute playing at 2:40. Live recorded, no pitch correction, only very slight EQing and added reverb. Aside from that, this whole piece was a ton of fun for me to put together day after day.

Inspirations here are AliasPharrow&Tigger888's Astral Dream and OceanLab's Miracle; I was trying to go for a good trance pluck sound and going for that sort of soaring, dream-away feeling at the breakdown sections.

Long story about the intro arpeggio sequence sound that carries through the piece: I downloaded the demo version of Sylenth1, which, if you've done that before, you know that every 60 seconds or so a voice comes up saying "Thank you for trying this demo." What I had to do, rather than pay 120 euros or whatever it was (and I live in Chicago, not England :P) was export the file twice so that when one had the message come up, the second one didn't and I could just insert that ckean version in there with FL Studio's slicer tool. Best use of that yet. So I did that, and there was one point where unfortunately the messages lined up almost exactly at the same time so I couldn't edit that out very well, it's around 4:02ish but it's not enough to ruin it.
