This was an audition for a project someone is working on. While i don't know if it was good enough for him or not, i felt compelled to share it with everyone out here because i was proud of it. So, here it is, The Tetris Theme in four part harmony... well, the fourth part is beat-boxing, but the other three are singing.
Sing along if you feel like it. the only word you need to sing is "La."

Great job

Might i recommend a "da da" instead of a "La la," though? it makes it sound a little smoother as opposed to the 8-bit type thing you seem to be trying to do

Great job though! sounds great!

RLFHOG3 responds:

Oh wow never noticed why i didn't see this here before. Actually the truth is i originally started with a "Da" but the quickness of the notes, especially the bass part just resulted in me slowly transitioning to saying "La" during the recording process because it was naturally easier. So thats why. X3

I'm not trying to dis on this, because it is really cool. But I'm pretty sure I hear auto-tune modification in your voice.

If that is the case, don't you think that kind of defeats the purpose of your Acapella?

Just wondering...

RLFHOG3 responds:

Yeah, there is a bit auto-tune in there on the melody and main harmony but no i don't think it defeats the purpose of the A Capella (as the base definition of A Capella is a song with only voices creating music and sound). In fact, in my opinion, it pays better homage to the original tune, giving it a robotic and NES feel to it. But thanks for giving this a listen and I appreciate the comment.
