To enter the Christmas spirit, I thought to give a spin to "Carol of the Bells" for Rig's "Christmas Challenge".

"Carol of the Bells" (also known as the "Ukrainian Bell Carol") is a choral miniature work originally composed by the Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych.
Here, you have it in the interpretation of the trolls and gnomes (thanks Tonehammer for the helium choir library).
Used Tonehammer Gnomehammer, Kontakt PlayerVileann Pipes, Independence Free Church Organ and a glockenspiel patch "home made".

Track arranged, sequenced, mixed by Mihai Sorohan in 2010.

No bells but trolls

At glance, I see the tittle "Carol", the my mind imagine about christmas eve.
Then, I read it carefully...."trolls"? The christmas eve had changed as dark greeny forest with giants monster around.
I click to it, the music play ... I know the melody of "Carol of the bells" and I can feel the presence of troll sense.

GOOD JOB!

Well, you can listen it over and over again... but it is a bit harsh on ears. Maybe you'll check the other carols on Newgrounds, some are very good.
Thanks for review.

LOL!

I wasn't feeling so good, so I came to newgrounds, listened to this.
Now I feel great!!

Thanks for making me laugh.

lolawesome

The beat sounds like hacking of dead bodies, and at the beat end sounds like someone crushed a head and the brains spilled out.

Beat is actually stomping on snow and the ending is from "sick" library from Tonehammer. Go get it from their website, it's free.

Cool

Kinda funny and goofy sounding. I like it though.
And I reckon they sound kinda like Hobbs from fable? Just a thought for you.
