A cadence I whipped up in a matter of two days. Nothing great, and the snare part is annoying as hell because I couldn't put double taps on the part to spice it up at all.

Nice Cadence

I think you could have done a little bit more fancy work, maybe do something with some quads or whatnot, but then again, that's my old days in the marching band coming out.

Pretty good all the same.

Actually, there is a quad part in there. It's just extremely hard to hear due to the fact that I had to utilize drum set toms instead of actual quad samples since I couldn't find any good ones. I initially made this as just a listen through so our drumline could get a feel for what I'd written. Thanks for the review!

This is cool.

Now....the only reason I give this is an 8 is because of the samples...but, honestly when I think about it...the samples aren't a huge issue especially in drumline cadences...but, I wrote a cadence (or part of one) as well. I'm just saying the samples don't make a huge difference...it's more of a luxury than a necessity.

Here's something I wrote: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3253668/DM%20 Cadence%20WIP.mp3

I'd just recommend looking into better samples....you might generate more ideas, who knows. In any case, I definitely like this...and I'd like to hear more. Good work. :)
