Easy Listening - Classical

Author Comments

I wrote this for a final in a class. I've always wanted to play piano, and after a few years I'm semi decent, this is what I came up with for a beginning music theory class, let me know what you think

First of all, I'm pretty sure you had a dick in your mouth while writing this-it comes out in the music.

Secondly, It sounds pretty good overall. Don't know what you made the sound file on so that may be the problem but would be better with some dynamical variance.

I award you 4.5 Stars with your above stated educational level in mind (one fresh out of beg music theory isn't expected to make a crazy-good-mind-blowing-world-renown-
professional-grade piece.

And last but never least, I like the note at 0:26.

OK, but...

I like the direction that this piece is going. It's also in my favorite key (Thumbs up for that!). However, it sounds a little flat. I'm really not sure what kind of equipment you use, but I'm sure that if you Change the volume at certain points of time and EQ it, it'll come out nicer. Good effort!

Pretty good.

The melodies were pretty good, I kind of like them.

I just think the song itself was a bit soft. You should try to maximize the volume a bit by increasing the volume to the point where it still doesn't clip.

Some tips for piano composing, notes don't usually play one by one, all the notes played usually sustain up to the next chord change.

And volume levels change really subtly. Figure out when to make notes decrease in volume.

Well, hope this has helped. It's not much anyway.

Still, this song is pretty good.
