This song is a work of Louis Scott, a young hitchhiker that I met once on a starbucks of Winnipeg. We chatted a bit, and decided to walk a couple blocks to my place and record a song, and this is what we came up.
I'm not fully sure what the song talks about; I do remember couple fragments of what he might have said to me. He said among many things, that some young girl named "Aaron" liked his music (or him) and lend her home to him for one night. She had blonde roommates or sisters (Hence "The Girls of gold") Then He left, and took her sunglasses accidentally, or she forgot about them. He also mentioned, that some man on the street told him he was standing on gold.
We recorded this song, finished late afternoon, and he left. And that was it... Never heard from the guy again.
He is on acoustic guitar, and vocals.
I'm on bass & guitar.
