Very Nice

Its a very nice piece, the beggining is wonderful. But I dont feel like it ties in with the rest of the song besides the melody. If I hear a string quartet type ensemble in the beggining then Id expect the piece to either be centered around those initial instruments, or when the rest of the instruments joined in, it would be nice to hear a score for an entire orchestra. While the clarinet sounds nice, I dont like that its the soloist the whole way through. now if you had started the piece out with the full instrumentation I would like the clarinet as a soloist way more. That doesnt excuse the fact that the piece you wrote is beautiful, and it has a classical feel, which is getting harder and harder to find in the "classical" section. The melodies are completely original sounding and the harmonies are rich and beautiful. The percussion is executed perfectly, all in all it is a very nice piece.
