OK, so this song has a backstory. Earlier tonight, I'm being harrassed by my best friend's little sister and her best friend. They want the computer. Nein, I say. I am working on programming a synth for Cognition Vault's next song, and don't want interruptions. So, they go to bed. I'm fine with that, except they are laying on the futon couch where I am supposed to be sleeping.

As they watch iCarly on TV, I plot my revenge. I begin cooking up the early build of what this song now is. As the droning synth and acoustic guitar play, I look back to them and whisper, "Good night, childreeen." They are slowly lulled to sleep by it, and eventually I can dance around wildly without waking them. I have found my peace. I can work without being constantly slapped by a stuffed animal.
