Fuzzy, depressed

What can I say, I'm depressed.

Not super-polished, but i'd appreciate any and all feedback.

Also, headphones might help (or at least not crappy laptop speakers like mine. It's pretty bass heavy).

Conveys emotion well, but bass seemed a bit off

I really like how you used a delay with the pan.....creates a very open feel to the environment the song creates. The chords you used with the piano is soft and reflective, and the delay adds significantly to that feeling. It's that kind of feeling where you don't really care, everything seems pointless.

I felt the low bass you had in the background seemed a bit off for a depressed mood, seemed more like something you'd hear in horror music just before a drop, but I think if you mess with it just right it'll sound perfect. It needs to be more intune with the piano.

This is great.

It definitely captures that fuzzy feeling you get when you're really down. Its almost like life is all blurry, and passing you by. I hope you feel better soon Skyood, and I hope you keep making great music.

skyood responds:

Thanks. "Blurry and passing you by," good description.

Calm, Relaxing, Somber

My only thought is that even on big speakers with a decent sub the bass is pretty muted. A ton more would overpower the lead, but if you boosted it just a little the effect would be better, in my opinion.

Otherwise, great song.

skyood responds:

Yeah, all the effects definitely suck a lot of the clean-ness out of that bass pad. I'll fiddle with it. Thanks for the input.
