Let's start off with an apology.

I'm SO sorry that I haven't done anything in a long time. I was changing equipment and purchasing Mixcraft, but that shouldn't have taken so long.

I hope I can make it up to you with saw waves :p

This is an old one, so don't expect too much. I dug it up and tweaked it a little while ago. I see it as mostly chord and dynamics practice, but it still gets its own story.

There is a forest, where it always rains. Whenever someone enters, their emotions become unbalanced, so whatever they feel is very intense. One brave soul has resided in this place for years, because he believes the strange effect is his fault, so he must stay until he has fixed it. Of course, he only feels this way because the forest itself has affected him.

Blissfully unaware of his own state of mind, he plays a whistle he carved himself from the trees, hoping one day his music will cleanse the area. The sounds are beautiful, but they are swept up by the wind, and heard by no one except himself.

I read this story years ago and never forgot it. What an idea...

Not bad

Interesting to say the least. I give you extra points for being original and not sounding like everybody else nowadays. The saw didn't sound terrible to me, it seemed to blend with the mood and the rain rather well. The flute not so much, and probably the part that turned me off to this was the random pauses in between melodies where it was just raining. Seemed like an awkward moment or something, like there should have been some kind of transition there or something. Still props on originality. Keep up the good work.

Birdinator99 responds:

Yeah, I honestly can't say I was thinking straight for most of this one XD

Original, perhaps, but 8/10 is pretty generous for this, so I thank you!

Nice :)

The pace and theme works very well with the whistle and flute sounds. I'm just not much of a saw wave guy though, they just don't seem to fit with the rest of the song to my ears. I would've liked it more if it was more focused on the wind instruments, those parts reminded me of the first temple in Majora's Mask. Really liked the ending.

Dright.

Birdinator99 responds:

It would seem that these saw waves find their way into everything! We must stop them XD

I should do a wind instrument song sometime; good idea. Glad I got the ending too.

Thanks for listening!

Nice work

I like the feeling it's sending, really calm, but ominous. Im digging it :D

Birdinator99 responds:

That's great! Thanks for listening!

Birdinator99 responds:
