I wasnt in my right mind when I wrote this. Mostly noise and purely experimental. Anything that sounds remotely like a voice is manipulated samples of babies crying. I told you threre was something wrong with me.

REVIEW #500. You win a prize. We'll discuss that later big boy. I enjoy coming back and listening to 'the classics.' Even if it is just you playing with your babies, buttzookas, and big white vans.

TheHeartgrinder responds:

The beauty of my bazaar experiments is never really knowing what's horribly perverse sampling and what's traditional music theory and production. Even pieces like Scars Never Heal or Supercreep that make absolutely no attempt to disguise their nature get much worse at their core. Samples of playgrounds, children of friends and family, the mentally challenged or complete strangers recorded in secret while standing in line at Walmart stagnate and rot the core of the track. Sounds associated with happy memories and experience manipulated to tell tale of horror and sick tragedy. Beloved childhood heroes forced into deeds of ill-intent with computer and broken mind.

Or I could be making it all up. Nothing is for certain and will never be as it seems. Even when it is, doubt and fear of the unknown will persuade perception into seeing what was never really there.

Thanks, buddy. ;D

I've the sensation that some pending choice is to be made. As I wait, in my mind, I have devised my own consequence. I don't like it. It's not what I want.

I was about three seconds away from grabbing a teddy bear and calling my mom to comfort me while listening to this. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but this song has an incredibly present feel of danger and threat. Something creeping up behind me, something big, something with shiny, yellow teeth... that's what consumed my brain.

You've struck something primitive in this song, the ability to call on a human's natural fight-or-flight reflex, with just the use of sound. As the song goes on, the inclination toward that primal sense grows stronger, it makes the listener want to do something or get the hell out. I think that's really cool, and you don't see it a lot in music today.

Really, I've got no pointers for you, maybe just warn me next time if you make a song that could be the soundtrack to a nightmare.

This response is long overdue. It is a rare thing for someone to be in tune with my sense of direction. With my sense of mood. I sincerely hope you are still in the business of reviewing art because I would be honored if you would do so with my newer works. I truly would.

Quite interesting

I actually enjoyed listening to this.
It's quite experimental, yeah, but really interesting.

Weird as hell, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and call it creativity. You're right this song is mostly just noise and sounds experimental. It's not very musical, but definitely a bit disturbing and interesting. Sounds very dark, and the ending especially does although I think it was a nice touch.

Like I said in another review I wrote to you, I think you have loads of potential. Not everybody can/does create this kinda twisted shit but it's definitely interesting to listen to and I appreciate it. If you can find a way to make these a bit more musical I think they would sound better, but as it stands it's still a decent track I think. Keep up the good work.
