>< Sounds best without headphones.

<> My second attempt at Trance. It is shorter, because I kind of.. Started off too fast. This is just a test,
and it's hard to describe the Sunset in 2+ minutes in my eyes. When I start getting trance down, I could revamp a bunch of my songs.

>< Thankyou Alex and Sequenced, for inspiring me, and supporting me. I used the rough square like you suggested.

<> Just so you guys know, I made it end like that to symbolize how a sunset ends.

Enjoy ~

Nice stuff man!

First, thanks again for reviewing my song. I've been in a drought of musical ability it seems, haha, so it's great to hear something like this.

I'm amazed by this song in so many ways. The layers are perfect and it has a strange tone to it that creates an awesome mood.

I don't have anything bad to say about this.

I know. It's just I myself am having trouble making trance. I am very restricted with sounds, and even the music program itself to make trance. I am not giving up, and I will find a way to make trance music worth listening too. So yes, I freak out that my beginning started off too fast, etc, and then I find out this sound won't agree with another so I just make it into an experiment all together describing something that is a part of life. This song does make me visualize the sunset. It's all bright at first, but then all the light starts slowly dissappearing, and finally all lights have subsided into the opposite side of light, which is just as beautiful. Thanks for the review, I know I need work which is why I am trying really hard. I wish more people would take their time to help me out, even with a step by step guide how to structure trance together. Thankyou. ^^

This is not bad... Actually, its really good...
I just find the dissonance you put in a bit awkward, it doesn't really tell anything about a sunset.
I would classify this under ambient if I were you. This is a pretty good try at trance, but you ironically made a song of another genre. o.o
If I'm not wrong, trance has a good strong kick drum on every beat, closed hi hats in between every kick, and a snare/clap every 2nd and 4th beat.

Still.. this is really good, hope to see more from you soon. =)

(Why? I use headphones, and they sound great.)

I'm glad you enjoyed this song. I can explain.

First part - Is the beauty and pleasure you get watching the sun fall slowly, that adrenaline rush. The power, and natural ecstacy. (I sound like a lunatic) XD

Second part - Is when it gets REALLY close in finally reaching the peak, (Like an orgasm). The shades of orange so brilliantly displayed.. Like a pool of life up in the sky.

Third part - Is the last and final part of this beautiful moment, descending. Then when the last lights start fading away, day snaps into night. Day doesn't fade into night, day ''snaps'' into night. Which is why the ending ''snaps'' doesn't ''fade''. Honestly, I have no idea what genre my songs are, really.. I am trying really hard though. Thankyou for such a lovely review.
