Short "intro" I made for anyone who wants an explosive theme for their animation.

I should have played more with the drum dynamics, but meh.

Pretty decent.

As in an intro in itself, i can say that it would certainly get me interested in anything it was connected to. As a song, the intro to the intro is great, and instantly sets off the atmosphere. Transitions are as smooth as ice throughout the whole song, and blend is superb, even if slightly bland in some situations. The song could've used more bass though, as this would've helped the depth more. The drums also didnt quite fit in with the rest of the song, although on themselves they were quite good. As for originality, the song is quite varied, and i can't say i got bored or anything. Overall, a great effort, some minor faults, but mostly pretty decent. Nice work!

Intro = 2/2
Outro = 2/2
Blend = 2/2
Transitions = 2.5/3
Bass = 1/2
Originality = 2.5/3
Drums = 1/2
Melodies = 3/4
Score = 16/20 = 8/10

Note: This is your review from the NGADM Round 2 and as always im posting it here for your convenience.

Good for an intro, The drums to stick out.

SeeD makes a good point here when he says that the drums stick out really bad. I can tell that you try to make it flow with the song, but something about it just throws the entire song off. I would really like to hear this without the drums and see what kind of difference it can make. Aside from the drums, the entire thing sound really epic, it blends nicely, and would make for a great intro.

But seriously, those drums cause an issue, I would look into that. Other than that it's great. Good work!

Sounds okay, but the drums really stick out like a sore thumb to me. They just don't blend well with the rest of the piece at all in my opinion. The main melody is great though. I'm not big into classical music, but to me this just sounds like it needs a little bit of TLC before I would consider it complete.

Not really much else to say about this...Work on blending everything together so you get a nice full, complete sound. As it sits now I can hear each separate instrument and it sounds like it's kinda doing its own thing lol.

Nicely Done

You know you should look into some other programs for composing. This piece would sound great with some better VSTs behind it.

I know, I wanna get East/West.

Thanks again :)
