I'LL SAY THIS NOW: If you don't like dubstep, or if you have ANY intent of zero-bombing this track whatsoever, just hit the "back" button. I want to see what my music is truly worth, and I'm tired of you obnoxious bastards staining it with a score that it doesn't seem to deserve. If you didn't like it, please explain why. I take criticism very well when it comes to my music.
Original post:
A very bittersweet song for members of the Class of 2010. The more nerdy members of the SPHS band will probably love this song as well.

For any veterans that have actually listened to my music for that long, y'all may remember how many times I've tried to do justice to Pachelbel's Canon...and failed miserably. Hopefully, my very first dubstep song is a successful effort.
Okay. This might require a bit of back-story.

My very first attempt at music was a jumpstyle, Jeckyll & Hyde-esque remix of Canon*. It wasn't bad in composition, but I still needed a lot of work, and I mean a LOT of work, and I sort of rushed into the project without any legitimate drafting process. I later made a trance VIP, which didn't sound bad, but once again, it was rather subpar...and I'm not even going to go into the third incarnation.

But, 2-3 years down the line, I found myself putting a harder styles album together (Canzoni dei Dannati), and trying to come up with a dubstep song to do. I somehow got to thinking about Pachelbel again, and figured that this would be a good chance to do SOMETHING right with a lovely piece of music (rather, -pieces-), despite what Rob Paravonian might think of it.

So, please enjoy. Despite the quality loss, I actually uploaded the full version this time. If you want a high-quality version, go to djntd.bandcamp. com.

*In the style of "Time Flies," more than anything else.

Very nice job. It's easy to listen to and soft and kinda calming/soothing. I won't get into all technical bs and analyze everything you did because quite frankly i would sound like an idiot. But anyway, very good job. 5/5 10/10

Thanks. It feels nice to hear compliments about my first dubstep.
