Raw Testes

Just a test with the In Flames tones offered by Line 6.

Also, since I'm testing them, I thought I'd write something for our video game segment on the radio show. I won't use these tones for it, but...it has promise. It's pretty raw, and the bass is LOUD for example purposes.

Enjoy.

This makes me think...

...Maybe you should have a keyboard...or maybe not,I just think it could make these songs darker...but that's not the objective..although those collabs with dimoria are truly beautiful songs...ahh whatever I have to stop writing my thoughts on my reviews like that...
To the review>>>>
This audio quality from line 6 makes me so envy of those who live on the north.
If this is for a video game section, maybe you should record some kind of metal version of Mario's theme I aways imagined how fun it would be to create a heavy song based on that theme...but there are so many games you can remake the themes...
I don't know much about tones,i'm still a noob :/ so i'll just stop here,or ill just keep typing until there are no characters remaining

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks kup. I know, I'd love to do video game stuff. I have a few things to finish first. haha.

That said, yeah, I'm just using a podx3. I love it.

Keyboards. I has one.
I used one on my song I just submitted for halloween comp. :)

Thanks for the review! You can talk all you want. I appreciate the support.

Awesome!

That tone is sexytastic. What Line 6 product has these tones to them? I'm using a Line 6 Spider III amp, and I couldn't get that tone out of it if I tried for hours.

Also, how do you record yourself? Just kind of wondering how different artists on NG do it.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

This is the podx3, with downloaded tone from line 6's tone library. You can browse by artist, genre, guitarist, band....and when you find a tone you click "get tone" depending on your set up, humbuckers or single coils... and it loads the tone into the podx3 empty channel. If you like it, you can save it there forever.

I use cool edit pro for recording. (Now adobe audition or something)
It's old, but it still outdoes all the new ones in my opinion. Also, uses hardly any memory. SO a mixdown of 20 channels of a 4 minute song takes like...5 seconds.

Thanks man, glad you dig it.\m/
