Electronic - Drum N Bass

Yeah, so I had to submit something to the Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch. Here it is...mostly. This song is not perfected as much as some of my other works, but so be it. My main focus is on some other things at the moment (much in the same way as xKore), so while I will be submitting stuff here to NG regularly, please understand that life is taking over. I'll keep y'all posted on stuff though, for sure! ;)

Thanks for being the greatest supporters I can think of!

P.S. Hope you DnB heads like a little bit of Dubstep mixed in with your beats, because I'm one all for that! (Inspired quite a bit by Pendulum lol).

I'm not picking up a whole ton of audible bass. I can hear some sort of sub back there but maybe you can bring it forward a bit with some distortion/ filtering/ compression? So much of this sounds really bright to me. Great melodies and rhythms. I can hear that pendulum in there. I love that lead at the dub break down. I might say play with some more panning to help widen things up. I heard you play with it a bit during the dub break but you could probably create some more room in your mix if you widened that kit.

great song! mur C:

Yeah. Some other things I noticed now too: Bad levels, and incorrect compression. =P That'll do it. Panning is good, but too much can get it to sound weak (especially if you're stereo separating). Thanks for the honest review, and glad you liked it overall! =D

yo dood

this is a badass track man. The drums are cool and the electro riffage is tight. Love the transitions too. OOO shit and you slowed it down too. fuuck that was cool. Hell yes i like this song.

One of the best on here, until 1:24.... it became the best in it's category from that moment :P
