Not terribly serious, this. More the result of a discussion with a friend as to what good samples with a crap arrangement sound like, and how, to the untrained ear, better samples usually make crap arrangements sound okay.
That said, after some work, this did become somewhat good-sounding, if a little repetitive. X3
Not a musician or someone that knows about music too much, but this sounds not bad honestly. But yeah like you said, it's kinda repetitive lol.
