Yup this is my remix of the theme from Twilight Princess' Gerudo Desert. I receive much praise when people hear this song. Instruments include: Baglama Saz, Keyboard, my Voice and I had to use Fruity Loops to make the beat.

Hope you all enjoy this!

EDIT: Yes I know it's very different from the original and has notes that weren't in the original, but this is my INTERPRETATION of it. If you want use this for a flash or something, I'd love to hear about it!

EDIT: I've mixed the song differently now so that it stays under 0 dB. It is the version that is currently up.

Nobody wants the same old tune regurgitated and this version is the perfect mix of 'different' and 'recognizable'. It feels nostalgic and conjures sense memory, without being something heard a million times before. Exactly the style of remix I like.

Rahmemhotep responds:

I'm going to be re-recording this song pretty soon, here. Clean it up and what not, since I'm forcing myself into a less messy style of playing/recording for future releases.

All I can say is wow

In my opinion this is way better then the original, because unlike the original yours has a nice gritty and desert-like theme. Kudos

Rahmemhotep responds:

Well, that IS what I was trying to do. It's nice to finally get some feedback on the way the theme sounds.

Thanks for the review kardesh!

The voice

The voice is not off, it just sounds funny XD
I actually laughed for a second when the voice started.
I really like it man 5/5

I have a unique voice so this is to be expected.

Thanks for the review!

Nice effort on the voice, it's a pity that it sounds off :S
Maybe you're better of using a plugin voice instrument.
Pretty good though.

Rahmemhotep responds:

It's a pity that the voices are not off and you think they are. If you want to hear "off" sounding music, listen to my other stuff. Also, all my instruments, besides drums, are tangible ones. I don't use silly computer plug ins to make music that I could easily make using my hands and an instrument.

You must also take into account what influences are present here. Obviously, the biggest influence here would be middle eastern 'folk' musics, in which, some do not believe in perfect pitch and also have more notes in their scales than western music. If you hear something "off" about my saz playing or my singing, you are probably hearing the microtones that are not usually pleasant to western ears.

Thanks man

You just made me remember how much i love that video game T_T
