Oh my God, this song is so beautiful and awesome...I don't know why, but the first time I listened to this a few months ago, I wasn't too impressed; but now, it has really struck me as a great song. It expresses my current feelings quite well (as well as the title). I jsut wish that there was some more variety, but I'm glad you didn't deviate from the chord progression (which makes the song great).
I'm glad you changed your mind :) I haven't released any new tracks for a while, but I have 2 near done tracks from the summer, but I need to master them. I'm in school right now, so I probably won't have time to work on it much, but I've wanted to come back to something similar to this style. In particular, I want to redo "In Spite of 1984" because I feel that the structure and synths could be improved, and that the mastering could be better done. Hey, thanks for stopping by :).
This is grand piece giving a light tone for the base of the song, with a good melody the balance it out, goes great with your other song In Spite of 1984.
Haha yeah, these two songs were built as complements with similar styles. I used similar techniques for them. I might mix that with some electro later if I have time. Thanks for stopping by. :)
for some reason when i first heard it, it kinda relaxed me and commanded at me to download it ,and i did :D
Don't worry, that's not awkward at all... but I feel that the only appropriate response is an awkward one: I'm glad you liked it? :p
I'm feeling a bit sad lately, and this song really expresses my feelings. perfect song, Melancholia...
Yeah, there's something about depression that's so nice sometimes. Thanks for the review. I owe you one (actually, 3)
very nice man
what did you use to make the synths?
Haha, thanks. It's sylenth all the way.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
