good music i register in the page just to give you my thanks and respect i played the game many times discover for myself secrets and bugs and all kind of things...
anyway if you do another version of the song would be great i will folow your work
keep creating great music dont stop
The last boss didnt deserve its music anyways. But hell, you did it some serious justice. At least getting old lets me know whats good and not, in comparison... Or the fact I probably beat that game over a hundred times for whatever reason as a kid... Man, do I feel old all of a sudden.
Dear gods, I was beginning to believe I was the only depraved soul on this wide world to have even -HEARD- of Illusion of Gaia, let alone played it... Maybe several times >.>
The song itself is awesome, and you did it justice ^_^ Perhaps a little overly twangy, but that's more personal taste than musical critique =P Very impressive work!
Yeah, I've played Illusion of Gaia quite a few times myself since I was very young. It's a beautiful and wholly entertaining game.
You're going to have to up the production values
The peeps at ocremix are very particular about sample quality and "realism", a whole lot of these samples scream fake, especially that bass, regardless of whether it actually is fake or not. However, arrangement wise this is quite rockin' B)
its downtuned to A# which results in the loose sound. and its distorted.
stingray bass = om nom
a nice southern style hevy meatl. i actually remember playing illusion of gaia this would fit perfect for the final fightbut the transion at point 0:51 killed it. keep it up
thats contrastwork, son. it amplifies the intensity of the following segment which is basically just the same as the first time it comes around. see, back in my day, people blah blah'd and things were better at some vague point in time.
thanks for the review.
