brief key-changing hard-and-heavy loop -- original work; vaguely inspired by Dream Theater

Not vaguely inspired by

The melody is almost the same of ''Strange Deja Vu'' except for some notes only. Givin' ya a 5/10 just for that, I didn't felt like it was so original, but I believe you can do great stuff.

Ironicly like "Strange Deja Vu" by DT

I like it a lot, but "vaguely" is not the word I would have chosen. It really sounds like the melody to "Strange Deja Vu" by Dream Theater (one of my top 3 bands) but it is still somewhat unique. I like the instruments you used as well. Keep up the work, let's hear some more!

I like the structure of this. It all fits together seamlessly and the instruments are played very accurate. The volume of the instruments is very good, one can hear every single instrument in this.

Somehow I imagined a fighting scene while listening to this. Hopefully some flash artist discovers this little masterpiece some day!

lol you shouldn't say vaguely though. The lead guitar and the background almost makes me thing im listening to an Extension of a song from Scenes from a memory, or an extension of Metropolis Pt. 1. Good reference though DT is awsome. This is pretty cool keep up the good work.

TritoneAngel responds:

It's about time somebody got that reference!!!!

Thanks for the review dude! I plan on redoing this one and extending it into something longer and with better quality/tuning, etc. Glad you liked it!

How is it that no one is downloading this song?

This heavy piece has an excellent flow to it. The key-changes seem to all connect with one another and the addition of the keyboard in the background halfway through the song adds some nice tension.

The guitar sounds crisp and clean and the volumes on each instrument seem to be perfect. Nothing is completely overpowering and I can distinctly hear each note of this piece. Fantasic job on clarity and effort.

I would have loved to have seen this developed more but this is outstanding as it is and I'm suprised it is not used in any flash animations yet. This would fit nicely with most action/fighting based flash videos.

Awesome stuff man. I'm definitely a fan of your work.

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks a lot buddy! Glad you enjoyed it.

The recording quality definitely could have been improved on this, and that may justifiably be hurting the downloads, but I think the melody/structure itself is pretty solid. I hope someone picks up on it for use in a flash.

Thanks again!
