Well hello there!

It's been a bit since I've uploaded anything as I've been busy with work. As usual though, I've been playing with something in my downtime to keep my spirits lifted. This track is a nice, soulful feel-good house tune meant to energize and elevate! :D

Done entirely in Propellerheads Record+Reason (which I still haven't upgraded, :/ I need to put my order in so I can start synthesizing my own drum samples! :d). I used a few presets (the notorious bass) and also some from scratch (mmm, the whole bridge is mine!).

I started the track last month, while on vacation at the family cottage, hence the laid-back feel of the tune. :) Definitely took a slower approach beat-wise but had a lot of fun melodically.

As usual, please rate / review / enjoy! :)

It's impressive how you combined bass and that relaxed atmosphere throughout the whole song. It is really great.

durn responds:

Thanks Maebbie. It's all about the location in the title, Muskoka is where I go to relax and it always ends up being a great influence on my tunes. Thanks again for the kind words. :)

Just as expected from the master durn, a mellow, fresh, jazyy beat. It's been a while since I've perused the Newgrounds Audio Portal, and what a great way to return. When in doubt, remember, DAD-durn always delivers.

durn responds:

Haha, D.A.D. will definitely be an album title for me someday, Desgami. Nice one, dude. :D Thanks for the review.

Just good...

Now all it needs is to be in a video and more people can a get into it.

durn responds:

Haha, yeah, this'd be a good one to have some dancers jam out to. :D Thanks for the review, windzer.

jazzy durn :)

it made me listen to it in another way from your previous work. relaxing! keep it up!!!

durn responds:

:) Thanks mookie, I definitely tried out a different groove for this tune. Was funny, when I was jamming out the melody there was a bunch of family around and the older folk kept telling me I was making music for a different time. lol, not -everything- has to be super-modern. ;)

good almighty...

that`s who you are. This is so great man

durn responds:

Thanks Gabe. :) Nice to see people are still enjoyin' this tune.
