Hi there, I guess this is a classic that you can't really cover unless done really well, this is THE GIRL FROM IPANEMA AFTER ALL! This isn't really anything special, just something to show how much I loved this song ever since I heard it a few years ago. I got the idea from an arrangement of this tune I saw once on TV or something, that cover blew me away, it's a shame I can't upload old videos onto youtube. . I copied the structure and most of the notes too. I know I got a couple of notes wrong, but those were the best I could get. Seeing as I did this by ear I'm quite proud of myself to be honest, especially as I did this quite a while ago X3.

I hate Midi, the latency from my keyboard to the PC sucks along with the bloody lag. . . why won't you pick up my dynamics? D:. . . I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI I hate MIDI. Yeah, that's about it.

Dig, the mix sounds great. I'm impressed that this was by ear, man. Excellent. You made the midi sound pretty great. I love this song as well, complete classic. It reminds me specifically of this old man playing this on the most beat-up guitar i've ever seen in an underground metro stop. The image will always stick with me. I hope to see him again. I could've listened to him play all day. Anyhow, Love the Getz & Gilberto version.

I likes me some jazz :3

You just made a fantastic song more fantastic! For by ear alone, it's really, really good. Great build-up from 3:09-3:35; the percussion is good here.

My only complaints are that I don't hear a sax (the lead sounds like a flute), and that the lead melody is a little simplistic (moar solos lol).

I didn't expect this from you dude; good job. Also, I <3 MIDI lol.

Hehe thanks, but I can honestly say I have to disagree there. The original is way better, I'm constantly listening to it for inspiration when I write jazzy stuff, even my other stuff. The elements in there are just amazing and this in my opinion can't compare with a masterpiece that in my opinion was what got the Bossanova ball rolling into the musical history books (don't hold me to that) XD.

Thank for the compliments, and my sax sounds aren't the best right now. I have to save up for good brass sounds, The reason default sound banks aren't the best to play around with in some cases. Thanks again man. . .

I'm full of surprises :D! I hate MIDI! :D
