Good song, good cover.
EDIT 24th September 2010:
Nobody told me the bass didn't export! I should listen before uploading huh... Fixed!
EDIT 9th September 2010:
Took into account some ideas from reviews and re-uploaded; louder timps, softer brass at the beginning.
I took a step away from video games, to something just as geeky (read: awesome)
I'm a massive fan of Voyager, I bloody love it!
I enjoyed making this, but I never have got on with synthetic brass, and I don't know anyone decent enough, or any orchestras to play the brass part. Synth strings can sound amazing, but I don't have the gear to make brass sound real xD
Ah well, I tried!
As a disclaimer and notice: One single sample was used in this track, taken from the Star Trek: Voyager opening sequence. The sample used was the warp nacelle alignment, and warp-off sound. The rights to this clip belong to their respective creators/copyrighters and not me.
Good song, good cover.
it good not bad
very beautiful.
Epic
I am a MAJOR TRECKY!
Only seen like every episode of every season of every show :D!!!
This was pretty dang accurate, I would suggest somehow finding the Plugin Purity, if you use some kind of program that runs VST's that is.
This was still pretty amazing, I would only suggest making the toms/drums a lot louder, they seemed kind of drowned out by the brass :)
Great work! ((The initial brass was really sharp and pluckish, maybe some editing?))
Thanks a lot for the advice :)
I am actually familiar with Purity, but I don't own it myself xD
I agree with the initial brass, I'll see what I can do, its much softer than that isn't it? My bad :P
Louder timps? You got it :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
