I don't know about that weird timing for the drums sake - as I don't think it affects the instrumentation. I don't think it was the breakbeat, drum and bassy-ness, pretty sure it was the 7/4 timing - when some parts just seemed to get the rhythm totally thrown off... almost ruined the song at parts.
Really top notch otherwise. 5/5. 10/10.
dude got one word for you and that its GREAT SHIT! oh wait thats two nvm =3
Thanks for the Review man :D
drums need better eqing and mixing though, reminds me of n+
people tell me bout how the drums sound empty or something
not sure how to fix it though :O
Even though this isn't the typical "madness" song, I think it would fit with a Madness Combat flash perfectly. The DnB mixes very well with the ambient synths which gives it that really creepy feeling. The use of 7/4 timing was cool, too. Very nice indeed :)
Also, it's nice to see some challenging competition in the Madness Day 2010 contest :D
5/5 and Fav'd. I really enjoyed it. Good luck in the Madness Day contest!
Thanks for the review man
Don't get much of these now a days lol
I thought that 7/4 timing would interesting to do after listening to some Dream Theater :D
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
